Alphashield
We have developed a new innovation in invertible seamless glass textile liners for the fast assistance of pipe rehabilitation systems. With a glass tubular knitted structure available with a range of advanced polymer outer coatings, the Alphashield range is for use in “no-dig” small diameter household and industrial rehabilitation systems for repairing damaged drains and sewers without the need to carry out disruptive excavations.
This extremely flexible product range offers a perfect solution for the repair of defective pipes with multiple bends of up to 90°. The Alphashield range consists of virtually fold free products that are available in a range of diameters and thicknesses and provide a stable wall thickness even with a change of dimensions. We recommend that Alphashield is used in conjunction with one of our easy process, two component epoxy or UV resins.
Glass Construction
This inherently stronger structure delivers a more robust product possessing greater strength, higher modulus and lower elongation.
Reduced Wall Thickness
The fact that the Glass is stronger allows for the liners to be thinner, reducing installation time, resin usage and impedance within the relined pipe.
Reduced Resin Usage
Alphashield products can save up to 30% of the resin required for a traditional build, thus, saving cost and time on installations.

The innovative 3D structure allows the product to flex around corners with minimal cramming and adjust in diameter changes of up to 50% in most cases.
